Wednesday 31 May, Friday 02 June and Saturday 03 June May 2023 Rail Strikes
We have been notified that ASLEF & RMT will be pushing forward with industrial action on Wednesday 31 May, Friday 02 June and Saturday 03 June. This is predicted to cause severe travel disruption and, in many cases, will prevent students and academics from attending classes.
To ensure that your education is protected, and the full 12 weeks of content time can be accommodated, we have no option but to move to a virtual classroom. A Zoom link will be visible on your module page on the VLE for you to connect to your class.
Should you need assistance accessing Zoom, please visit our Learning Resources Centre in person at either East India campus (Import Building) or the Charterhouse campus or via the LRC Zoom link on the VLE.
We will make every effort to keep both our campuses open should you need to use the facilities or use a PC to connect to the virtual classroom.
Should the strike be called off within 48 hours of the planned date the class will be moved back to physical classroom delivery.
